Trail Conditions: Have at er………
Looks very nice looking out the windows this morning. Sun is out and no rain is in sight. We have to go up to the park today for the celebration of Neil Kalamber’s life. More and more I hear celebration of Life rather than a funeral or memorial. I lost my last wife over 12 years ago but it still seams like only yesterday. Remembering a loved one as a celebration of life seems like a good way to do it. Neil was a good guy and I had a lot of fun with him in the few years that I knew him. Some people will say “Life sucks and then you die.” Well it only sucks if you let it. Life is too short, and if you don’t enjoy it when you are here you have no one to blame but yourself. Enjoy it while you can, because you never know when it is going to jump up and bite you in the ass.
Good bye my friend Neil, I am so glad that I did get to know you the last couple of years.
