Weather: Below freezing, chance of snow.

Check out our Snowball Cancer Page.

A chance for snow today. We sure have had a dry spell where the snow is concerned, possible 1-3 today. We can only hope, and pray. I’m taking Mom to church, so I’ll do the praying.

Riders are still saying about the same thing, grades, fire roads best riding, but have to be getting thin too. The lake is getting traveled a lot more. But I would use caution, stay on the traveled paths and ask locals about ice conditions. Ice shacks are popping up down the eat shore of the Lake. That’s a good sign that ice conditions are getting better too. But still be careful out there if you venture out onto the Lake.

A man placed some flowers on the grave of his dearly departed mother and started back toward his car when his attention was diverted to another man kneeling at a grave. The man seemed to be praying with profound intensity and kept repeating, “Why did you have to die? Why did you have to die?” The first man approached him and said, “Sir, I don’t wish to interfere with your private grief, but this demonstration of pain is more than I’ve ever seen before. For whom do you mourn so deeply? A child? A parent?” The mourner took a moment to collect himself and replied, “My wife’s first husband.”
