Weather: 3-5″ again yesterday.

Conditions: OK to Good.

I have plenty of openings in the rentals next week is open in two of them, Skip’s place in 1/2 block north of the Mobil with legal access to town. Bert’s Nest is on the North Shore of the Lake about 1 mile from the Hoop. Both are very nice places. Check out availability here.

Holy shit working a 9 to 5 job sucks, Working at Lake Gogebic Sports is a grueling job. I got home last night and my feet hurt and ┬ámy back hurts. I really am starting to appreciate what you guys do all day. I miss drinking beers and shots with all of you, I had it made before LOL. Worse part is I’m only getting paid by commission so if you don’t call up and rent sleds from me I won’t be able to come into the Bay Bar and drink beers and shots with you. Just kidding, I love it. But call me up and rent some damn sleds.

We got more snow yesterday and more is on the way next week. Temps are cooperating also. I didn’t talk to many sledders yesterday to give you any specifics on individual trails but I had to take Becker to Iron Mountain last night and I can tell you it was a white nuckle ride ride all the way there and back, so the whole area received snow yesterday.

A contractor dies on a fishing accident on his 40th birthday and finds himself greeted at the Pearly Gates by a brass band.

Saint Peter runs over, shakes his hand and says “Congratulations!”

“Congratulations for what?” asks the contractor.

“Congratulations for what?” says Saint Peter. “We are celebrating the fact that you lived to be 160 years old.”

“But that’s not true,” says the consultant. “I only lived to be forty.”

“That’s impossible,” says Saint Peter, “we added up your time sheets.”
