Weather: 1-3″ 3 days in a row.

Conditions: Should be improving as the day goes on.

I have plenty of openings in the rentals. Check out availability here.

We had mild temps over the Holiday, combine that with a ton of sleds and most sledders said the trails were hit and miss. Even up north in the Keweenaw trails got rough. We got a couple of days of mild temps with 1-3″ forecasted each day. Starting Wednesday the temps drop and that along with the grooming efforts should put the trails in good shape for the weekend. The groomers are out getting things back in shape, come on up, it’s Snowtime.

Here is a snow report from our Official Snow reported in Bergland:
November saw  2.47″ of precip with 6.5″ of snow
December saw  3.81″ of precip with 39.9″ of snow for a YTD total of 46.40″   I have 15.8″ on the ground this AM.
Compared to last year, we had 3.67″ precip in November with 25.3″ of snow
December was 4.45″ precip with 21.9 ” of snow for a total at this time last year of 47.20″.  So we are around the same amount so far.   We ended last winter with 160.90″ by the end of May 2016
I learned to drive an 18 wheeler in my days of adventure.

Wouldn’t ya know… I misjudged the height of a bridge. The truck got stuck and I couldn’t get it out, no matter how I tried.

I radioed in for help and eventually a local cop shows up to take the report.

He went through his basic questioning…OK…no problem. He looks pretty smart until he asks, “So…is your truck stuck?”

I couldn’t help myself! I looked at him, looked back at the rig, and then back to him, and said, “No, I’m delivering a bridge.”
