Weather: Going to 40 degrees.

Conditions: Poor.

Trail 8 west to Ironwood is impassable 4 miles west of Merriweather unless you go up on the highway where you could be ticketed.

8 east to Kenton is very thin and you will be hitting rocks.

1 south along the west shore of the Lake is impassable, water.

13 south gets very thin the further you go south.

1&8 on the north end of the lake have a fe wet spots but wound be a lot better if a groomer went through.

1 north would be OK is a groomer ran up there.

I have not heard anything on 102 but when I went past it there seemed to be enough snow like 1 north but I know they had water problems earlier this year.

I did hear Ontonagon and Watersmeet trails were in good shape. Also Rockland, Greenland and north or there were good and groomers were out.

If you don’t laugh at this one, you’re not breathing .

A firefighter was working on the engine outside the Station, when he noticed a little girl nearby in a little red wagon with little ladders hung off the sides and a garden hose tightly coiled in the middle.
The girl was wearing a firefighter’s helmet.
The wagon was being pulled by her dog and her cat.
The firefighter walked over to take a closer look.
‘That sure is a nice fire truck,’ the firefighter said with admiration.
‘Thanks,’ the girl replied. The firefighter looked a little closer. The girl had tied the wagon to her dog’s collar and to the cat’s testicles.
‘Little partner,’ the firefighter said, ‘I don’t want to tell you how to run your rig, but if you were to tie that rope around the cat’s collar, I think you could go faster.

The little girl replied thoughtfully, ‘You’re probably right, but then I wouldn’t have a                                  siren.’
